The trailer wiring harness you referenced, Hopkins # HM48895, is intended for vehicles that use LED tail lights which draw relatively little power as compared to standard incandescent lights.I do not believe that your 1995 Ford Explorer came equipped with LED-type lighting and this harness is not among those recommended for your vehicle.
